Holy Week 2021
PLEASE NOTE THE CURRENT COVID REGULATIONS:
- All parishioners must wear a mask.
- The cathedral can hold 150 parishioners.
- Only members of the same household may sit together.
- Remain at least 1.5 metres from other households and parishioners.
- Single file on entry and for Holy Communion
- There is to be no congregational singing.
- We encourage you to bring a chair in case seating outside is required.
The three great ceremonies of this sacred time are the Mass of the Lord's Supper on Thursday night, the Celebration of the Lord's Passion on Good Friday afternoon, and the Easter Vigil on Saturday night.
All Catholics are strongly urged to attend and participate in these ceremonies, so central to our Faith.

Good Friday 2nd April
Office of Readings and Morning Prayers - 8.30am
Stations of the Cross - 10.00am
Celebration of the Lord’s Passion - 3.00pm
Holy Saturday 3rd April
Office of Readings and Morning Prayers - 8.30am
Easter Vigil Mass; The Blessing of the New Fire and Paschal Candle; The Solemn Liturgy of the Easter Vigil and Renewal of Baptismal Promises. (Assembly inside the Cathedral) - 7.00pm
Easter Sunday 4th April
Mass Carmelite Monastery - 7.00am
Mass of the Lord’s Resurrection Cathedral 9.00am
Renewal of Baptismal Promises.
NB: There will be no 11.00 am Mass on Easter Sunday.
