Holy Week 2025
St Carthage's Cathedral

 Chrism Mass Monday 14th April - 7.00pm
During this Mass the Priests and Deacons gather around the Bishop who blesses the Holy Oils for use in the coming year. It is also a time where the clergy renew their vows.

The Sacred Triduum:
The three great ceremonies of this sacred time are the Mass of the Lord's Supper on Thursday night, the Celebration of the Lord's Passion on Good Friday afternoon, and the Easter Vigil on Saturday night.
All Catholics are strongly urged to attend and participate in these ceremonies, so central to our Faith.
