St Carthage’s was immensely blessed by the visit of Fr Declan Gibson and Deacon Michael Donnelly from the Missionaries of the Most Holy Eucharist. They presented afresh the wonder of the priceless gift of the Holy Eucharist, Christ Himself present under the appearance of bread. Participants we stirred to renew devotion to Our Saviour who never tires to remain with us in the humble mode of the Most Blessed Sacrament. What a blessing to have both these devoted men visit our Parish. Many thanks to Father Maurice for organising this. They inspired us to greater reverence for the Blessed Sacrament. We hope they will be able to return some time in the future so more people can hear them speak.

Father Declan visited us at St Williams in Round Rock this past weekend and is speaking tonight and tomorrow night in our chapel. His visit and wonderful homilies have helped invigorate the importance of Eucharistic Adoration for many of our parishioners. We cannot thank him enough,

Father DeClan blessed us this past weekend at St. Joseph in Babylon, NY. We were in awe of his love of and devotion to the Eucharist. His homilies and Padre Pio piercing eyes were riveting. We love him and are looking forward to attending the Retreat at the Seminary in November.
