Becoming Catholic

No person is barred from becoming a Catholic who has the desire. The doorway is Baptism which is the Sacrament of Faith. For adults this means a period of preparation and formation of heart and mind for this significant step.

This preparation nowadays takes the form of a program called the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA). The RCIA program is offered regularly at St Carthage's. Please enquire at the parish office for more details.
